Families Helping Families Ministries, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that distributes food and household items weekly to approximately 250 households who are in need in our local and surrounding communities.
FHF also distributes items to Partner Agencies.
Our Mission
To fulfill the Lord’s commandment to take care of the hungry and afflicted. FHF strives to eliminate hunger and food insecurities by providing the surrounding communities with food, promoting the value of nutrition, increasing self-sufficiency and instilling the hope and love of Christ in them.
Our Vision
Our vision is to expand our offerings to further our efforts in eliminating hunger in our community, while sharing the love and message of hope in Christ Jesus.
Our History
The Families Helping Families Food Pantry started in July of 2013 as an outreach ministry. For the first year and half, FHF handed out food on an occasional basis. In April 2015, FHF began weekly distribution and has grown immensely since then. Please continue to pray for the ministry so we can continue helping to feed the hundreds of individuals and families each month that we used to serve. FHF also provided for other agencies out of our abundance.
We are currently seeking a new, larger warehouse type location to move the ministry to. We have outgrown our space and are seeking the Lord to provide something bigger.
In 2022 FHF served 12,855 clients.
