The Love Ministry Garden, a ministry of Families Helping Families Ministries, Inc., started in March of 2023. It’s a 6-acre community garden where fruits and vegetables are grown with love and care, to provide nutritious foods to food pantries in our local area. It is also a teaching garden where students, schools, clubs, churches and local organizations are taught the art of cultivating, propagating, greenhouse gardening, farm construction, sowing and growing.
There is an area dedicated to veterans which we call the Veteran’s Memorial Garden. Active Military, Veterans and wounded warriors work together in creating a space for hope and healing through gardening.
We are continually looking for volunteers that share our passion and vision to help those in need.
